2025
Event
In 2025 I organized a 500-person capture the flag game on WashU's campus in response to new regulations restricting use of campus space.
These regulations had been heightened following a Palestine encampment the previous spring, making free use of public university space increasingly difficult.
The game intentionally gathered 500 people outside official university rules, a peaceful protest that created space for play within the university's own regulatory structure.
It unfolded over three months: recruitment, secret meetings, campaigns, propaganda, a coup, a march, a speech, and the game. Each part satirizing the aesthetics of various forms of power.
It was shown in Keepsake at the Des Lee Gallery in the spring of 2025.
